Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. will look to defend title on June 4th, 2011
This fight is going to be great! Chavez (42-0-1) will match-up against current WBC Middleweight champion, Sebastian Zbik (30-0-0) on June 4th. This is an interesting fight because Chavez has improved his boxing game immensely since joining with trainer Freddie Roach. Also, both fighters are putting an undefeated record on the line in this bout to determine the middleweight title. In my opinion, Zbik might be in for a long night if Chavez performs the same way as he did in the title match against John Duddy. Watch more here:
Omar "The Business Man" Chavez trains for upcoming bout in Mexicali
The legendary boxing trainer, Freddie Roach, has been working with Omar Chavez for his upcoming fight on Saturday May 28th in Mexicali, Mexico. Omar Chavez looks to defend his unbeaten record (25-0-1) against Genaro Tranzancos (22-14-1) and continue his progression as a fighter.
Roach is also training Omar's older brother, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., for his fight on June 4th against Sebastian Zbik.
