Playing Chicharito (via USSoccerPlayers)

Playing Chicharito - USSoccerPlayers

Take a few moments and read a great article from Cesar Diaz at ussoccerplayers.com. Diaz offers a closer look at Chicharito, which some argue is the biggest threat to the United States. I agree with Diaz as both teams will show world class defense and superior scoring ability.

Do you think Hernandez is the X-factor in Saturday's matchup? Who else does United States need to look out for in the Gold Cup final.

@MexicoSports,

Thanks for your kind words and for reblogging my article! Who's going to win tomorrow? It's a shame Giuseppe Rossi doesn't play for the United States because a Rossi - Chicharito match up would have been awesome considering that the Confederations Cup is on the line...

Mexico has all the tools to repeat as champions but Honduras did enough to batter El Tri. My concern with Mexico is that whenever their goalkeeper has played well, they're eventually due a bad outing. Talavera has been sensational but does he have the mental toughness to play one more good game?

By Bob Bradley deciding to rest Landon and Dempsey for a half, I believe the United States maybe able to pull out the upset if they're able to take advantage of their bench and allow those players to flow freely.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mexico won 3-2 because when it's said and done, Mexico is a better team at advancing the ball individually and collectively. And they're demonstrated an improvement in their set piece plays.

Cesar
