As Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez closes in on a comeback from a worrying head injury sustained at the start of his own pre-season campaign, Chicharito has outlined his golden vision for the future.
'To help United win the 19th title and become the most successful club in England was brilliant,' said the 23-year-old.
'It was better than anything I could have expected and I enjoyed it a lot.
'But that is in the past now. The thing I learnt from team-mates like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes is to keep winning. Their mentality is all about winning.
'I have won one Premier League. Now I want to win another.'
The statement will certainly be welcomed by Sir Alex Ferguson, who like Giggs, has 12.
Ferguson took a chance on Hernandez when he snapped the Mexico striker up from Chivas last year for £7million.
Hernandez has confirmed his wellbeing but is happy to let his manager decide.
'I have been training with the team for three or four days but I don't know when I will be back in the squad. I always say they are the decisions for the manager. Only he can answer that.'
Hernandez is sticking with a lifelong pledge not to make targets for himself even though Ferguson has suggested 30 might not be unrealistic.
Instead, he just wants to play his part in repelling rivals for United's status as England's number one.
'I have never set myself targets,' he said. 'I simply play football.
'My goals are the consequence of what my team-mates do. We are just the lucky ones who work closer to the goal and get the headlines.
