Jaguares stopped its slide with a well-earned 3-1 win over visiting San Luis, with Jackson Martinez emerging as the hero for the Chiapas-based outfit. The Colombian forward netted twice in the first half – the first a composed finish from eight yards out and the second a one-on-one chance just before the half. Miguel Angel Martinez made it three just after the hour mark when he redirected a wickedly bending free kick while Alfredo Moreno finished off a well-worked move to get a consolation for San Luis. The result put a serious dent in San Luis' playoff hopes, but Jaguares moved back to third place, two points off the pace.
