Combate Extremo is a Mexican mixed martial arts organization based in Monterrey, Mexico. It is the largest and longest running mixed martial arts promotion in that country. Combate Extremo is currently shown on national and international television through Multimedios Television and TVC Deportes reaching over 30 million homes in North America.
Combate Extremo continues to be Mexico's longest running professional mixed martial arts promotion and recently became affiliated with COMEXAM (Comision Mexicana de Artes Marciales Mixtas) making it one of the first promotions in Mexico to adopt the MMA Unified Rules as established by the Association of Boxing Commissions. Combate Extremo is now owned by mixed martial arts columnist and TV commentator Hector Molina.
To date, Combate Extremo has promoted over 40 professional mixed martial arts events in Mexico and internationally, promoting 9 events in the 2010 season alone and with another 12 scheduled for 2011.
