Rest is best for Javier Hernandez after suffering a mild concussion, says specialist

Dr. José Humberto Anaya, a neurosurgeon at Hospital Angeles de Guadalajara, told Excelsior that the mild concussion Javier Chicharito Hernández suffered will have no serious consequences and that a break of four weeks is enough to make a full recovery.

The doctor also argued that the flight from New York to Washington made by Chicharito did not in any way affect his recovery. English media challenged that the Manchester United staff put Hernandez at risk by letting him travel, thereby disrupting Chicharito's rehabilitation.

Despite this recent setback, Javier Hernandez will be ready to return to the pitch on August 28 when Manchester United hosts Arsenal at Old Trafford in the third round of the Premier League. This means that the Chicharito will miss the start of the Premier against West Bromwich and Tottenham Hotspur.

Once healthy, Chicharito will be well rested and ready to get back to scoring form. I expect Sir Alex Ferguson to get Hernandez involved early and provide the Mexican footballer with numerous scoring opportunities.
