Nick Diaz was a no-show for a press conference Tuesday afternoon in Toronto to hype the upcoming UFC 137: St-Pierre vs. Diaz pay-per-view.
Diaz, who relinquished his Strikeforce welterweight title to move to the UFC to face champion Georges St-Pierre, has a history of not interupting his training for press events.
St-Pierre was upset and frustrated by the no-show from Diaz, and the normally quite relaxed GSP might be in for another day of anger.
An event planned for today in Las Vegas is expected to feature both GSP and Diaz, but UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta tweeted on Twitter earlier today asking where Diaz is.
"Anyone know where nick diaz is?" Fertitta wrote.
Cesar Gracie, the head trainer and manager for Diaz, told MMAjunkie.com on Tuesday that Diaz regrets missing Tuesday's event and promises he will show in Las Vegas.
"Nick is going to be there (Wednesday), and we'll go from there," Gracie said.
Malki Kawa, the manager for welterweight contender Carlos Condit, tweeted, "I know where Carlos Condit is if you need a replacement ;) we're an hour away. We'll sell the fight."
Condit is slated to meet B.J. Penn in a bout to determine the next challenger to either St-Pierre or Diaz in the co-main event on October 29.
