U.S.A. women’s soccer defeat Mexico 1-0 in friendly, head to Germany for World Cup

The U.S. Women's National Team played an international friendly against Mexico June 5, their last contest before the FIFA Women's World Cup begins in Germany. For pretty much all of regulation, the U.S. played excellent, controlling possession and tempo. The only stat they didn't dominate was the score. They had 34 shots to Mexico's 4 on the game, and 14 of them were on goal. Mexico's 'keeper, 16-year-old Ceci Santiago, is the real deal.
