Despite Yacuzzi's efforts, Tijuana finishes 1-1 against América

In a key match Sunday, Javier Yacuzzi scored after 15 seconds for Tijuana before America's Christian Benitez equalized the match in the 86th minute to finish 1-1.

This was a heated matchup between two teams struggling to stay afloat in the Apertura, as this match saw eight yellow cards with the Xolos taking five in all.

Javier Yacuzzi was by far the most active Xolo with five shots on goal. However, his efforts where not supported by the rest of the Tijuana squad. The majority of the Tjiuana team seemed sluggish and unwilling to make the most of the opportunities they were afforded in the box.

The Xolos will need to refocus and string together a few good games if they want to avoid finishing last in the Apertura standings.
