Bofo Bautista snapped a scoreless tie in the 61st minute, and Queretaro went on to defeat Estudiantes Tecos 3-0 Saturday at Estadio La Corregidora and take the eighth and final berth in the Liguilla with 26 points (8-2-7).
Jose Martinez made the score 2-0 six minutes after Bautista’s goal, and Sergio Ponce closed out the scoring in the 82nd.
Tecos (6-0-11) ended their season 16th in the standings with 18 points, and were the only team in the Apertura to not draw a single match during the tournament.
