Hernan Marquez ready for date with history this Saturday at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles.

On Saturday night in Los Angeles, CA, WBA flyweight champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (34-2, 26 KOs) of Sonora, Mexico, has an appointment with history when he faces WBO strap holder and self-proclaimed “Mexecutioner” Brian “Hawaiian Punch” Viloria (31-3, 18 KOs) in a WBO/WBA flyweight unification bout at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, CA. The fight, which will be one of the most anticipated match ups in flyweight history, and which will be broadcast live in the United States exclusively by Wealth TV and WealthTV.com.

Marquez, the fighter of the year for 2011, has achieved high impact wins over the likes of Luis “Nica” Concepcion and more recently Richie Mepranum and Fernando Lumacad but he has stated next Saturday’s will be “the fight of my life.”

It’s practically a date with history when he faces the biggest name of his career. A win will put him in the major leagues of the lighter weight divisions while unifying two titles. Marquez will put up his WBA title while Viloria will offer up his WBO strap. The bout will be the main event in a fight card presented by Zanfer Promotions.
